Shortcrust pastry recipe for Italian pie

From pasta frolla shortcrust pastry, you can cook Italian crostata pie, tartlets or cookies. Let's see what ingredients we need:
  • 500 grams of flour;
  • 4 eggs;
  • 200 grams of powdered sugar;
  • 250 grams of butter;
  • Lemon zest;
  • A pinch of salt.
Pour flour into a food processor first. Add oil, it should be cold. Stir until the paste looks like sand. Rub the zest of a whole lemon. Pour the flour onto the table with a slide, add sugar, lemon. Make a small depression in the flour hill and beat in the eggs. We need only the yolks. Add salt and knead the dough. Wrap the finished dough in a film, put in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Now you can use it for cookies, tartlets, pies and so on.
